Telangana, also spelt Telengana or Telingana, is a constituent state of south-central India. The states of Maharashtra border it to the north, Chhattisgarh and Odisha to the northeast, Andhra Pradesh to the southeast and south, and Karnataka to the west. Telangana is famous worldwide for its fantastic bronze casting that requires exquisite skills to create great idols. Nirmal town is world-famous for its varied range of handicrafts made using the best traditional techniques to create masterpieces.
NIFAA Telangana branch has been established under the command of a very energetic youth leader Mr Kanneveni Yadavaraju, who worked his whole life under the guidance of great Gandhian and promoter of National Integration, Dr S. N. Subba Rao Ji. In a short time, Sh. K Yadvaraju and his passionate team took many initiatives for the welfare of society. They observed days of importance to remember great ICONS of Indian history like Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Sardar Patel, Dr S.N. Subba Rao, Shaheed Bhagat Singh etc. During Corona 19 lockdown period, team Telangana under the command
of Mr Raju, distributed groceries, and other necessary items to the needed people of the state. In 2021, NIFAA decided to conduct a campaign, “Samvedna”  to promote voluntary blood donation; the Telangana team actively participated in this noble initiative. A meeting followed by press conference was held in the press club of Hyderabad for the Samvedna campaign. NIFAA delegation also met the honourable Governor of Telangana in Raj Bhavan and briefed her about this national project.
Although NIFAA was a new name in Telangana, people of the state and social NGOs responded very positively, and a total of 15 camps were conducted under the “Samvedna” campaign. NIFAA Telangana team is equally concerned for environment protection and conservation. Volunteers and team leader K. Yadvaraju did tree plantations across the state.
