Rajasthan is famous for its majestic palaces, forts, historical sites, UNESCO heritage sites, wildlife destinations, lakes, deserts, camel safaris, popular shopping sites, and numerous pilgrimage sites. It has a diversity of art, culture, and festivals. Rajasthan stands out so well compared with other states of India in many aspects, such as royalty, heroism, history, honour, and more. NIFAA formed its Rajasthan branch in 2019 in a well-attended function held in the Nagore district of the state. A young and dynamic youth leader, Dharmendra Prajapati, was appointed as state president for leading NIFAA in Rajasthan. Since its beginning, the NIFAA Rajasthan team has consistently worked on various social welfare and nation-building campaigns. NIFAA has branches in 15 districts out of 33 districts of Rajasthan state. In coordination with the state executive, every district branch has done remarkable work to solve local issues and participate in NIFAA’s national- or international-level campaigns. The climate of the Rajasthan state keeps varying because of its topography. It is the driest region in India. The NIFAA Rajasthan team works hard to do maximum plantations in the state. On various occasions, including on 6th August 2020, also known as Hiroshima Day, NIFAA Rajasthan planted trees in different cities as a tribute to the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Celebration of World Environment Day is a regular affair of state and district bodies of NIFAA in Rajasthan. The team also makes tiny shelter houses, “Parinde” on trees and rooftops to relieve birds during hot seasons. During the COVID-19 lockdown, NIFAA Rajasthan conducted various relief activities to provide groceries to needy persons and organized multiple awareness programs and webinars to reduce the stress of the masses. Many students and elders joined the NIFAA team in Rajasthan and helped carry forward its positive social awareness and welfare work. The NIFAA Rajasthan team has organized the award ceremony for World Women’s Day to honor those females who have done remarkable work in the more considerable interest of society. Promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan and, at the same time, learning about the country’s diverse culture is one of the main activities of the state team. Under the banner of NIFAA, budding artists of Rajasthan participated in various state and national level activities, including Harmony, International Youth and Cultural Festival held in Karnal and Tripura states of India. The Rajasthan team is working to promote national integration and brotherhood. A warm welcome was extended to One India Ride, Gita Sandesh Bharat Yatra, and Guru Nanak Sadbhawna Yatra in the state of Rajasthan by NIFAA branches, and functions were organized where local citizens could get knowledge about these campaigns and their mottos. The “Samvedna Camp” was a great success in Rajasthan. Team NIFAA Rajasthan organized 35 blood donation camps during this campaign. NIFAA took the help of other social organizations to make this campaign a success. Rajasthan team also participated in the “Speak up Friends Campaign” to encourage students, especially girls, to speak up against child abuse and drug abuse in society. NIFAA team Rajasthan will initiate more projects in the state for the more extensive welfare of the society and has also planned to open branches in all districts of the state before the Silver Jubilee of the Foundation Day of NIFAA.
