With its colorful festivals, rich heritage, and delicious cuisine, Gujarat has become one of the most visited states in India. Gujarat is famous for its traditional clothing, food, and natural landscape. Asiatic lions, Rann of Kutch (White Desert), colorful handicrafts, festivals, and culture make Gujarat famous.
NIFAA declared Pankaj Jala an energetic youth leader, and a state president and executive were also formed under his guidance. NIFAA Gujarat state organized various programs to uplift weaker sections of society, promoting national Harmony and contributing to nation-building. Considering youth as the country’s future, NIFAA Gujarat organized a skill development workshop in which many young people participated and benefitted. Undergo the Green India project headquarters, the NIFAA state branch reached out to all districts of the state and planted trees to increase the green cover of Gujarat. NIFAA Gujarat is equally active on the cultural front. It takes part in various national and state-level events to promote the rich cultural heritage of Gujarat and learn about the country’s diverse culture. Under the aegis of NIFAA, artists of Gujarat performed Gujarat dances in Harmony, and the International Cultural Festival was held in Karnal and Tripura. Special programs were conducted in different parts of the state to welcome Guru Nanak Sadbhawna Yatra members and to spread the great teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji during the 550th year of his birth.
The NIFAA Gujarat team played an appreciable role during the coronavirus lockdown period and reached different parts of the state with grocery kits and medicines. NIFAA Gujarat launched a particular drive to help people of northeastern states, especially from Mizoram, and provided timely assistance during those tough times. NIFAA Gujarat provided Groceries and drugs to needy people and did volunteer duties under the district administration’s coordination. Samvedna’s campaign was a big success in the state. Sh. Sanjiv Mehta, a national youth awardee from Gujarat, coordinated this campaign in the state. With the help of the Gujrat branch of the National Integrated Medical Association, Gujarat State Red Cross Society, and other like-minded NGOs, 105 camps were organized under this campaign. As a matter of pride, all camp organizers were honored with the International Life Saver Award by the honorable Governor of Gujarat, Acharya Dev Vrat Ji, in a function organized by NIFAA at the Auditorium of Gujarat State Red Cross Society.
