In 2019, India celebrated the 75th year of its Independence as “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.”  Under the guidance of the Honourable Prime Minister Sh Narender Modi, the country initiated various activities to mark this historic year. The National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists also uniquely celebrated the 75th anniversary of Independence by organizing 750 voluntary blood donation camps in 75 days. From 15 August 2022 to 28 October 2022, NIFAA involved all of its branches nationwide in this mega campaign. At National Headquarters, Karnal in Haryana state, NIFAA continuously organized 75 blood donation camps in 75 days, i.e., one camp daily for 75 days. In contrast, NIFAA crossed its target and held more than 750 blood donation camps.

Government blood banks collected over 75000 blood units under this campaign, and most of the units were given for thalassemia patients. This campaign also created awareness for voluntary blood donation and motivated youth to become regular blood donors.
